Sibylle answers our questions about her job, her contributions to reducing CO2 emissions, and her passion for green energy. Please find the interview below.

 

Can you please introduce yourself in 1 sentence?

I’m Sibylle, an engineering graduate with a decade of diverse experience across fields like works engineering, nuclear, and waste treatment, always in the role of a Project Manager.

 

Can you describe your job at Lhyfe, and what you particularly like about it?

My role at Lhyfe revolves around ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and meeting specifications. I work with teams from different departments and solve problems together. What I love most is the constant learning and the strong collaborative spirit within the team – it keeps things exciting!

 

How does your work contribute to reducing CO2 emissions in France?

Currently, I’m leading a project at Lhyfe that will produce nearly 2 tons of H2 per day, significantly reducing CO2 emissions. While the impact may seem modest, I believe projects like these are laying the groundwork for larger-scale initiatives in the future, leveraging our expertise for sustainable progress.

 

What is your fondest memory of working at Lhyfe?

One standout moment for me was witnessing the production of our first bubble of H2 on my project. It was a monumental achievement for the entire team, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards green energy.

 

And finally, why green hydrogen?

For me, green hydrogen is the start of a new era in clean energy. I love the challenge of developing it. There’s so much potential in this field, and I’m excited to help drive positive change.
